Healthy Pakistan Mission at The Garage School, Karachi

Team ITA conducted an activity related to Health and Hygiene at The Garage School situated at Neelam Colony, Karachi. The initiative was taken when some students from St. Joseph College approached ITA and asked if it would be possible to conduct HPM at The Garage School, providing kids with an insight to health and hygiene activity.

The invitation was accepted by ITA Karachi team and they conducted a productive training session at The Garage School where the students were really keen to know about the key messages highlighted by Healthy Pakistan Mission.

The oath got revised where students promised to wash their hands 5 times a day on key occasions. Proper way of hand washing was also taught to the students and some of the students demonstrated that by coming forward. Also they were delighted by the Lifebuoy Shampoo’s Chulbuli character and understood the significance of shampoo as the primary entity for hair washing. Knorr HealthY Snacking was also explained to the students in order to avoid most of the junk food that lead to major diseases resulting in more absenteeism.

Soaps were distributed among children along with Mom and Child monitoring charts in order to guarantee that the kids would adopt the habit of washing hands.Share
