Knorr Foods joined hands with Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi this year in order to initiate their CSR Activity in the form of Knorr’s Healthy Snacking Programme coupled with the BigBook that would teach the children about the importance of communication and basic mathematics.
The campaign took off by spreading its roots to 7 districts all over Pakistan including Hyderabad, Shiakrpur, Swat, Mardan, Charsadda, Muzaffargarh and Quetta.
With its unique mechanism of the campaign, it grabbed a lot of attention of the teachers due to its excellent integration into the curriculum. ITA has its plan to further extend the campaign by including its activities in their ECE programme.
Total number of schools that were covered is 550 benefiting 157,869 students and 947,214 community members.
Phase II will resume its operations in September 2012.Share
