Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi and Telenor had a ground breaking ceremony at Government(N) Modren High School, Sukkur as part of the CSR initiative by Telenor as “HumQadam”.

The event started at 10:30 am with the recitation of Quran. The event was graced by the presence of DOE Secondary Male/Female – Sukkur, Mrs Nuzhat Bukhari, Telenor’s CSR personnel Ms. Nadiqa and Mr. Abdullah, along with the Regional Manager, Mr. Shehryar Bhutto. They presented with their views about the Telenor HumQadam Campaign and its vision in the long run. Ms. Afshan Razzak from ITA also shared her views about the campaign and its significance in order to improve the education system in Pakistan. Students of Government (N) Modren School also participated in the event.

After the speeches, a ground breaking ceremony took place where DOE Secondary Male/Female, Mrs. Nuzhat Bukhari along with Nadiqa and Abdullah from Telenor inaugurated the construction work with a foundation stone.
The ground breaking ceremony was followed by some interesting activities of murals and plantation by the Telenor volunteers, ITA team members and school staff who attended the event. The volunteers were divided in 3 groups and each group performed various activities.

Gift boxes were given to the students who participated in the event. The program ended on a positive note and a promising execution of the campaign in the near future.Share
